Mitterfels (German pronunciation: [ˈmɪtɐfɛls]) is a municipality in the district of Straubing-Bogen in Bavaria, Germany. It is the head of the Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Mitterfels.
Mitterfels is located in the region between the Danube and the Bavarian Forest.
