Musalan (Persian: موسالان)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Gavork-e Nalin Rural District[4] in the Central District[b] of Mirabad County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran. The previous capital of the rural district was the village of Mirabad,[5] now a city.[6]
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 572 in 85 households, when it was in Vazineh District[c] of Sardasht County.[7] The following census in 2011 counted 680 people in 126 households.[8] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 611 people in 141 households.[2]
In 2022, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Mirabad County and renamed the Central District.[4]
