Najaf (Persian: نجف)[a] is a village in Howmeh Rural District[4] of the Central District in Samalqan County,[b] North Khorasan province, Iran.

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,238 in 300 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 1,352 people in 368 households.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,279 people in 384 households.[2]
