Niente (transl. Nothing) is a song by Italian singer-songwriter Ultimo. It was released on 15 October 2021 by Ultimo Records as the fifth single from the fourth studio album Solo.[1][2]
About the song, written on 26 March 2020, Ultimo stated:[3][4]
"Niente" is very important from a sound perspective. It brings me back to anger; I wanted to convey anger. I wrote it at the beginning and it describes the apathy I felt. During the first part of 2020, I returned from Los Angeles. I was in a period where I felt nothing; I wanted to express the anger and anguish I felt.
Music video
The music video, directed by the duo YouNuts!, a duo composed of Antonio Usbergo and Niccolò Celaia and starring Ultimo himself and Livorno-born actress Rachele Luschi, was published to coincide with the song's release on the singer-songwriter's YouTube channel.[5]
