Panchvadan Sthan

Panchvadan Sthan (/pˈant͡ʃvˈadən ˈɛsθˈan/; Sanskrit: पञ्चवदन-स्थान, IAST: Pañcavadana-sthāna [pəɲt͡ʃəʋəd̪ən̪əs̪t̪ʰɑːn̪ə]), also called Panchbadan Sthan locally, is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located in Kusedhi village of Bihar, India.[1] The temple is notable for housing a Panchamukhi Shivling, a five-faced representation of Lord Shiva, which is rarely found anywhere else.[2] As of January 2024, The temple committee is headed by Karyanand Singh,[3] who reports that the Shivling is made of granite and is considered invaluable.[4]

Panchvadan Sthan is situated in Kusedhi village of Pinjri panchayat,[5] within the Barbigha block of Sheikhpura district within the distance of 7 km from block office.[6] The temple is open to public and serves as a place of worship for local villagers and visiting devotees.
