Patrice Barnes

Canadian politician From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Patrice Barnes is a Canadian politician and former school trustee[1] who served as a member of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario (MPP) from 2022 to 2025. A member of the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario, she represented the riding of Ajax.[2][3]

Political career

Barnes was first elected in the 2022 Ontario general election[2] and was appointed deputy speaker in 2023.[4]

In the 2025 general election, Barnes lost reelection to Ontario Liberal candidate Rob Cerjanec by 0.8% of the vote.[3][5]
