"Dame" (English: "Give Me") is a song written by Alejandro Lerner and Kiko Cibrian and performed by Mexican recording artist Luis Miguel. It was released as the lead single from his eleventh studio album Nada Es Igual... on 15 July 1996 to radio stations. "Dame" was recorded at the Record Plant studio in Los Angeles, California. The song incorporates R&B and hip hop influences. The music video for "Dame" was directed by Marcus Nispel and filmed at the Mojave Desert in California and was nominated Video of the Year. It received mixed reactions from music critics who felt that the track sounded too similar to his previous pop recordings. "Dame" peaked at number two and one on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs and Latin Pop Songs charts in the United States and received a BMI Latin Award in 1998.

The Grammy Award for Best Latin Pop Album is an award presented at the Grammy Awards, a ceremony that was established in 1958 and originally called the Gramophone Awards, to recording artists for releasing albums in the Latin pop genre. Honors in several categories are presented at the ceremony annually by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences of the United States to "honor artistic achievement, technical proficiency and overall excellence in the recording industry, without regard to album sales or chart position".

Throughout its history, this award has had minor name changes: "Best Latin Pop Performance" (1984—1991, 1995—2000) and "Best Latin Pop Album" (1992—1994, 2001 to date). In 2012 the award was not presented due to a major overhaul of Grammy categories. That year recordings in this category were shifted to the newly formed "Best Latin Pop, Rock or Urban Album". However, later that year, the Board of Trustees announced that it would be bringing back the category for the 55th Grammy Awards in 2013 with the following description: "for albums containing at least 51 percent playing time of new vocal or instrumental Latin pop recordings".

Ones (Spanish: Unos in Spanish-speaking countries) is the twelfth compilation album by American singer Selena, released in the United States on October 1, 2002 by EMI Latin. It was released on November 11, 2002 in Spanish-speaking countries, while the limited edition included a bonus DVD of her music videos. In an interview with Julie Chen, Selena's widower Chris Pérez explained that the recording was released building on the popularity of the 1997 biographical film Selena. Selena's father Abraham Quintanilla Jr. and sister Suzette Quintanilla told Chen that the album was aimed at Selena's new generation of fans. Ones was released as part of the Selena: 20 Years of Music collection—a nine-disc series of her studio, live, soundtrack and compilation albums. The album features six number one singles namely, "Amor Prohibido", "Bidi Bidi Bom Bom", "No Me Queda Más", "Fotos y Recuerdos" and her duets with Álvaro Torres on "Buenos Amigos" and Barrio Boyzz on "Donde Quiera Que Estés".
