Portal talk:Anime and manga

I think the portal is too "static" right now. An idea would be having, in a very reachable area of the portal, a list of the current series, those airing in Japan, linking to their respective articles. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rvalles (talk • contribs) 10:28, 1 May 2006

Hello. I ask for an understandable reason as to why is it that not all Japanese manga series have the first volume cover as profile picture and a thoroughly and consistent plot. I ask that this reason to be posted here permanently so that everyone understands those motives. Please reply! Thanks! 190.231.171.103 (talk) 18:35, 11 September 2023 (UTC)

Some articles, like School Rumble, use a different cover because the first volume wasn't representative of the series' art. You can read a discussion about it here. The second question is just a matter of someone actually taking the time to write out a thorough plot. This takes someone who actually knows the whole plot, and someone who knows what and what not to include based on summary style so the plot isn't many thousands of words long. Also, for future reference, almost no one has this talk page on their watchlist, since it's a portal. Posts on WT:ANIME would be more likely to receive replies.--十八 19:34, 16 October 2023 (UTC)
