The Portuguese Communities Council (Portuguese: Conselho das Comunidades Portuguesas) is the Portuguese government's advisory body on policies relating to emigration and the Portuguese communities abroad.[1][2]

The Council is made up of a maximum of 90 members, elected by Portuguese citizens living abroad. The last election was held on 26 November 2023.[3]

The Regional Council of the Portuguese Communities in Europe, a regional body of the Council, are demanding the Government of Portugal, introduce online voting for the next Portuguese presidential election.[4]
