Sarocha Chankimha

Sarocha was born on 8 August 1998 in Bangkok, Thailand, and is the only child in a Buddhist family. She attended high school at La Salle School Bangkok. For her post-secondary education, she graduated from the College of Communication Arts at Rangsit University, with a bachelor's degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communication.^[2] She had a strong inclination towards a career in the corporate sector.^[3] She was awarded First Class Honours for her academic achievement.

In 2016, Freen competed in Miss Teen Thailand^[4] and was one of 15 finalists, receiving an award.^[5] During the contest she was given the opportunity to be the host of Miss Teen Thai and Girl Daily program.^[6]

After completing her graduate degree, she decided to pursue her career in the Thai entertainment industry so she started auditioning at various talent agencies and finally signed a contract with Idol Factory. Her first acting break was in the music video "Before Rain" by Thai recording artist The Toys. In 2020 she guest starred in the TV show Sosat Seoulsay.

She made her acting debut in the Thai drama industry in 2021 with the romantic-comedy drama So Fit as Bing, the female lead.^[7][8]

In 2022, she had a supporting role in Secret Crush on You.^[9][10] In the same year, Sarocha portrayed Sam in the television series Gap.^[11] The series accumulated more than 900 million views on YouTube.^[12] She appeared alongside Rebecca Patricia Armstrong, and the pair were referred to in media as "FreenBecky".^[13][14][15] Chankimha also contributed songs to the series' soundtrack, including "Whisper".^[16]

In 2024 she signed with The Venture Management.^[17]

Subsequently, she starred in the romantic science fiction film Uranus 2324, the period drama The Loyal Pin, and the movie Rider.^[18][19][20]

In October 2025, her contract with IDOLfactory concluded, after which she established her own management company, Solenn Entertainment, and began operating as an independent artist.^[21][22]

In May 2024, Freen attended the 77th Cannes Film Festival as a participant in the "Women in Cinema" program and appeared at the Variety Global Conversations event presented by the Red Sea International Film Festival.^[23] She was also featured on the digital cover of the European edition of Vanity Fair as part of its "Six Women in Cinema" feature.^[24][25][26]

She has attended international fashion events, including Paris Fashion Week in September 2024, where she appeared at Valentino shows.^[27] In January 2025, she was appointed a brand ambassador for Valentino.^{[28][29][30][31][32]} She later appeared at additional Valentino presentations in Paris.^{[citation needed]}

In May 2025, she attended the Met Gala representing Valentino.^[33]

In October 2025, she was included in The Business of Fashion's BOF 500 list.^[34]

Outside of fashion, Sarocha has appeared at cultural events in Thailand, including the ICONSIAM Loy Krathong Festival in 2025.^[35]
