Becky Armstrong

Rebecca Patricia Armstrong was born on 5 December 2002 in Bangkok, Thailand. Her mother is Thai and her father is British. She has an older brother, Richie (Richard William Patrick Armstrong).^[8] She began her schooling in Australia and then moved to Thailand, where she attended Shrewsbury International School. She then relocated to New Zealand and, upon returning to Thailand, attended Wattana Wittaya Academy. She then attended Victoria College, Belfast, and returned to Shrewsbury International School. As of 2023, she is pursuing a law degree in Criminology and Psychology at the University of Essex.^[9]

Armstrong's acting career began in 2020 when she played Thanya,^[10] a supporting role in TharnType 2: 7 Years of Love, a sequel to the popular series TharnType.^[11] She was announced as part of the cast in May via Twitter.^[12] The series premiered in November of the same year.

In early 2022, she played the supporting role of Fon in Secret Crush on You.^[13] In late 2022, Armstrong played Mon, her first leading role, in Thailand's first girls' love television series Gap - The Series with her partner "Freen" Sarocha Chankimha. Together they are recognized under the name FreenBecky.^[14] Her performance gained her widespread fame internationally and multiple awards, and the series surpassed 800 million views on YouTube.^[15]

She played a supporting character in Long Live Love!, a romantic comedy movie about a broken family released in June 2023.^[16][17] The film made 100 million bhat, and was released globally on Netflix in October 2023.^[18] She then played the leading role in the music video No Worries, along with LYKN, a boy group under Riser Music.^[19][20] She portrayed the leading role in the Jeff Satur's music video "Ride or Die", the video reached more than nine million views on YouTube.

In 2024, Armstrong starred as leading character “Kath” in the romantic sci-fi film Uranus 2324 again with her screen partner "Freen".^[21]

Also as the leading role “Princess Anil” filming the GL series The Loyal Pin at the same period in 2024.

In 2025, she played “Pun” in the one of the story of the horror movie called 4ป่าช้า.

In 2026, she played the main character “Nanno” of the series Girl from Nowhere: The Reset, a school mystery thriller series. It premiered on March 7, 2026, on ONE 31, the oneD app, and Netflix.^[22]

Armstrong's interests include football, tennis, archery, shooting and rock climbing. She is a swimmer and kick-boxes as workout.^[23] She has two French Bulldogs, Bonbon and Boba.^[24]

She became Chanel ambassador on 12 March 2025,^[25] and in May 2025 was announced as cosmetics ambassador of L'Oréal Paris.^[26] Her appearance at the Cannes Film Festival 2025 for L'Oréal generated $11.1 million in EMV, representing 44.1% of the brand's total – the highest of any influencer at the festival.^[27]
