Sedalia is a hamlet in southern Alberta, Canada, within Special Area No. 3.[2][3] It is located approximately 31 kilometres (19 mi) north of Highway 9 and 150 kilometres (93 mi) northeast of Brooks. The area was developed when the railway came through in 1925.[4] The hamlet was named after Sedalia, Missouri, where some settlers of the area originated from.
