Seh Hezar Rural District

Seh Hezar Rural District (Persian: دهستان سه هزار)[5] is in Kuhestan District of Tonekabon County, Mazandaran province, Iran.[6] Its capital is the village of Yuj.[3]

Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population (as a part of Khorramabad District) was 988 in 287 households.[7] There were 2,030 inhabitants in 681 households at the following census of 2011.[8] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 1,308 in 488 households. The most populous of its 45 villages was Darjan, with 159 people.[4]
In 2020, the rural district was separated from the district in the formation of Kuhestan District.[6]
