Shakhli (Persian: شاخلي)[a] is a village in Palizan Rural District[2] of the Central District in Maraveh Tappeh County, Golestan province, Iran.
Population
The village did not appear in the 2006 National Census, when it was in Maraveh Tappeh Rural District of the former Maraveh Tappeh District in Kalaleh County.[3] It also did not appear in the following census of 2011,[4] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Maraveh Tappeh County. The rural district was transferred to the new Central District, and Shakhli was transferred to Palizan Rural District created in the same district.[2] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 116 people in 31 households.[1]
