Shamsabad (Persian: شمس اباد)[a] is a village in Mahvelat-e Jonubi Rural District[4][b] of the Central District in Mahvelat County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran.

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 950 in 256 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 976 people in 284 households.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 958 people in 294 households.[2]
