Spahija

Spahija is a Kosovo Albanian surname[1] of Persian origin derived from the word spahi (سپاهی, sepâhi; horseman, soldier), that entered Albanian from the Turkish adaption Sipahi (horseman, cavalryman). Notable people with the surname include:
