Susanabad (Persian: سوسن اباد}, romanized: Sūsanābād;[1] Syriac: Sūsnāwā)[2] is a village in Margavar Rural District, Silvaneh District, Urmia County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 684, in 103 families.[3]
History
Sūsnāwā was inhabited by 7 Church of the East Christian families and did not have a church in 1877, as per Edward Lewes Cutts.[2] It was located in the Tergāwār district.[4]
