Tajan Rural District (Persian: دهستان تجن) is in the Central District of Sarakhs County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran.[5] Its capital is the village of Sangar.[3]
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 13,136 in 2,837 households.[6] There were 13,439 inhabitants in 3,385 households at the following census of 2011.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 13,197 in 3,576 households. The most populous of its 21 villages was Shir Tappeh, with 2,643 people.[4]
