- jeopardise amicable relations with the Crusader states the source talks about the Franks though it seems to imply the Franks of the Crusader states, is this an important distinction? Should we clarify this in text, i.e., "Franks of the Crusader states"?
- Since the Franks formed the ruling elite of the Crusader states, I think the text accurately reflects the cited source. Borsoka (talk) 03:34, 15 May 2026 (UTC)
- My concern is with the reader, who may not immediately realize that the Franks were related with the Crusader states (not all the readers are experts on Crusades), which in my mind require some clarification. A.Cython(talk) 03:41, 15 May 2026 (UTC)
- I added the clarification as I think this helps the reader. This may be a minor issue, but it bothered me.

The article concerns a senior Byzantine cleric whose life is poorly documented, but who became the first Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch able to reside in the city in the 12th-century.
