Hey, we do not use templates anymore but transclude the tables and stuff. Take a look here what i mean. I can transclude them if you want. Afterwards we can speedy delte the template(s). Kante4 (talk) 14:03, 28 June 2021 (UTC)

Do as you wish, as long as you keep every functionality, including |showteam=, and switch every page using the template to use transclusion.

Maybe someone can figure out how to insert it, i don't have enough knowledge how to do that stuff. I tried with several ideas but none worked so far. But yeah, templates are not used for those olympics (anymore) per here... Maybe @Primefac: has an idea how to do that? Kante4 (talk) 07:15, 29 June 2021 (UTC)

@Primefac: I think so too but the only thing missing (per above) is a "showteam" function, which i do not know if this is possible. For me, not needed but if we can work it out how to imsert it, i have nothing against it. Kante4 (talk) 09:42, 3 July 2021 (UTC)

Forgive me, it's been a while since I've dealt with the sports table module; what does the showteam function do, and why is it necessary here? Primefac (talk) 09:56, 3 July 2021 (UTC)

It bolds the team (in the standings) you want to highlight. It works with the sports module(s) but not with the transclusion option. For me it is not necessary like i said, but @Deancarmeli: would like to include it and i tried to but failed. Kante4 (talk) 10:15, 3 July 2021 (UTC)

@Primefac: This isn't yet resolved.
@Kante4:The |showteam= function can work in transclusion, BUT only if only sports tables are transcluded. In our case, the usage of Linescore prevents the usage of that function. A solution can be to use a template for the tables, and restore all functionalities. Deancarmeli (talk) 10:42, 3 July 2021 (UTC)

Hmm, I'm not seeing anything obvious after a quick glance at the module (and none of its other uses like this one do what you're asking for), but Frietjes is way more familiar with the module than I. Primefac (talk) 12:53, 3 July 2021 (UTC)
