The first paragraph states "Beer is one of the oldest alcoholic drinks in the world, the most widely consumed, and the third most popular drink after water and tea."
Coffee is also more popular than beer, it is also arguable that soda and/or juice is also more popular. This can be found with simple Google inquiries. The sentence would be better off reading as "one of the most popular drinks in the world" instead. Retromegabit (talk) 09:25, 2 April 2025 (UTC)
- OK, I'll fix it now. Chiswick Chap (talk) 09:28, 2 April 2025 (UTC)
- Even if that's a fact that "can be found with simple Google inquiries", I think it needs to be supported somewhere in the article main body, with some RS sources? I can't find anything there at the moment. Thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 09:45, 2 April 2025 (UTC)
