Why is it called bubble tea and not Boba tea ?

Please change bubble tea to boba milk tea or boba tea. As a native Taiwanese who lived in LA for 2 years, I'm sure bubble tea is misspelled. The reason it's called boba milk tea is it's original name in Chinese called 波霸奶茶. I think it's because boba is not a real word and it sounds like bubble, so people tend to call bubble tea instead. But the word bubble tea does not really represent the term boba represents. Boba in Chinese is two words, bo and ba. Bo is derived from ball. Ba is like king. Boba means very big ball. That's for describing the tapioca pearls in the milk tea are very big. So it's boba milk tea instead of bubble tea. And BTW, bubble tea makes me think of sparkling tea.
