Split article
I think we should make a separate article on the fictional portrayals. This is essentially a different character who merits a separate article. Sort of like how we have an article on Julius Caesar the character from Shakespeare's play that is a separate article from the main article on Julius Caesar.John Pack Lambert (talk) 20:46, 20 June 2025 (UTC)

Charles de Batz de Castelmore d'Artagnan → D'Artagnan – The overwhelming WP:COMMONNAME for this musketeer is just "D'Artagnan" per refs, see French Wiki. The vast majority searching for him would not use his full legal name.
