Physical site?
Does the CAOC have a physical site, and if so, where? ........ PKT(alk) 12:00, 16 March 2026 (UTC)
- According to this seven-year-old piece, CAOC was at Canadian NORAD HQ at CFB Winnipeg. But the way this CBC article is worded, it's in Qatar. My guess is the CBC reporter was confused: I think there are some CAF members who normally work at CAOC in Winnipeg that are on exchange to USAF's 609th Air Operations Center in Qatar. There would be no reason for a NORAD unit to move as a whole to Qatar. Actually I'm becoming more convinced that this article should be deleted. There aren't enough reliable sources to indicate that it passes the notability requirements. Military units aren't inherently notable just for existing.
