Government of ChinaPolitical system of ChinaPolitical system of China – The previous discussion ended without a consensus, and some users proposed renaming the article as an alternative. I personally think this is a much better method, as it preserves the article content. Maybe it can gain more support compared to the previous proposal. • Oppose. The proposal is not an improvement and risks making the scope too vague. —Myceteae🍄‍🟫(talk) 22:14, 22 October 2025 (UTC)

Government of the People's Republic of China

Currently, I have one small quip regarding this article's use of the term "government of the People's Republic of China". While I can see how "government of China" can refer to the broader state structures generally, "government of the People's Republic of China" is a very specific legal term China uses to conduct treaties with other nations; it generally refers to the Central People's Government, i.e. the State Council, so equating the whole state structure with the government of the People's Republic of China is misleading. What can be done to remedy this? The Account 2 (talk) 21:23, 27 December 2025 (UTC)

This will have to be part of a larger push. We have three articles: Politics of China, Government of China and the System of people's congress that are all about the same thing. It can be done, but then we have to make the edits first, and then do the other things. TheUzbek (talk) 08:17, 28 December 2025 (UTC)
