Talk:ICE and New York City during the second Trump presidency

I very much do not care for the transcluded background section here. A proper background for this article should begin with Trump's immigration policy during his first term, and his reactions to governance decisions in New York City during that period. I'm suggesting an expansion of this section to give an actual background. We have an entire article on Immigration policy of the first Trump administration. A background section here should give readers a sense of how and why the current regime is a change from previous norms. BD2412 T 19:06, 21 July 2026 (UTC)
