iPhone XS and XR lost support on September 15th, 2025 with the release of IOS 26.
Please change the table in the Models section from “Discontinued, Still Supported” to “Discontinued and unsupported, critical security bug fixes only” for these 2 models’ status.
Thank you. 45.52.220.203 (talk) 20:18, 17 October 2025 (UTC)

Bizarre sentence at the end of the history section of this article
" They also have the biggest and best battery life yet in any iPhone model." sounds like something out of an elementary school essay. The biggest and best battery life? Like the battery life is the best and the battery life is also the biggest? Huh? ~2026-63286-2 (talk) 09:24, 29 January 2026 (UTC)
Like the battery life is the best and the battery life is also the biggest?
My guess is that they meant that those models have the biggest battery, for some value of "biggest" (largest maximum amount of energy storable?), and the longest battery life, probably meaning "how long it can work before it needs to be recharged", of all iPhone models. If so, much, but not necessarily all, of the greater battery life may be due to the greater battery size.- But, yeah, it's a clumsily-written sentence - and, more importantly, it needs a reliable source for the claim. Such a source might also make it clearer what the claim really is. Guy Harris (talk) 11:41, 29 January 2026 (UTC)
