Disambiguation?

Should this instead be a disambiguation page for Imperial Regalia of Japan and Imperial Regalia of the Holy Roman Empire? Nik42 04:36, 18 September 2006 (UTC)

Sword of Charlemagne

The 'Saber of Charlemagne' misdirects to 'Joyeuse' which is the French coronation sword (note the painting of Louis XIV wearing it) and has never been a part of the Imperial Regalia. Joyeuse is a broadsword and the Saber of Charlemagne is a saber, very early, probably of 10th or 11th century Magyar origin. It's origin is unknown; possibly a gift from one of the Arpads to one of the Saxon or Salian emperors.67.52.199.50 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 06:14, 23 December 2010 (UTC).

Oppose, but would support Regalia of the Holy Roman Emperor. Not sure if that's better than Imperial Regalia of the Holy Roman Empire, which is consistent with other articles. Srnec (talk) 19:16, 18 April 2026 (UTC)
Support Imperial Regalia of the Holy Roman Empire. We do need the "Imperial" in there as it's part of the common name: in German Reichskleinodien, Reichsinsignien or Reichsschatz. Imperial Regalia by itself is clearly ambiguous, however, as every empire has imperial regalia. -- Necrothesp (talk) 10:30, 20 April 2026 (UTC)
