Few things
Very little sourcing for this topic, and none of the sources talk about the scene or history of the genre in depth. I've avoided adding any sort of original research, but making this talk page entry in case anyone wants to add Negative XP as a "far right musician" to the lead due to the Canadian Anti-Hate Network source. I feel this would be WP:UNDUE. I'm trying to add every available source on the scene to the article but until there's more sources regarding the political aspect I wouldn't really tag it as far right or neo nazi or anything like that Aradicus77 (talk) 04:09, 6 February 2026 (UTC)
No mention of Fried by Fluoride?
I feel as though he deserves at least a passing mention, as his song 'The Love I Lost' popularized Incelcore on TikTok, along side Wifiskeleton and Jaydes, and is the most popular Incelcore song with 111 million streams on Spotify. Herezgonia (talk) 15:38, 15 February 2026 (UTC)
- I added him Aradicus77 (talk) 13:15, 2 March 2026 (UTC)
Black Metal and Neofolk in the see-further section...
...doesn't make sense to me, has nothing to with that. Though the Black metal redirect can be set on Black_metal#Depressive_suicidal_black_metal, a BM subgenre what deals with similar negativity. ~2026-23308-0 (talk) 19:04, 18 February 2026 (UTC)
- I changed it Aradicus77 (talk) 13:15, 2 March 2026 (UTC)
Incelcore started in 2015
When we discuss when Incelcore started as a genre we should know how it started. Alan S. Kim started the genre and it is a fact, he had 2 projects Negative XP and School Shooter, so both should count as Incelcore projects, because there is nothing to indicate otherwise. There are barely any sources surviving to this date that can pinpoint the 2015 date one of which is last.fm which is not editable and was scraped off the streaming services. ~2026-13547-07 (talk) 12:52, 2 March 2026 (UTC)
- No it didnt bro. If you were in the scene you would know that most of the og guys said it started with MSG. There was no incelcore scene until MSG came out it was just a bunch of disparate musicians on SoundCloud making stuff then NXP decided to group some of those guys into the MSG comp. Figures like Scabzone who were peripheral at the time didn’t make it to the comp yet he had been making music before NXP so did incelcore start 2013? Obviously not. It started in 2019 as the sources say and as the community agrees because it was only after 2019 that there was a scene or people referred to it as such. The MSG cohorts were the “first” real incelcore musicians in this context. Everything before is proto-incelcore Aradicus77 (talk) 13:12, 2 March 2026 (UTC)
- Here we start talking what incelcore is and who is incelcore.
- You are incelcore if you check any of this boxes
- 1) You self-identify as one
- 2) You associate with anyone who is already incelcore
- Scabzone did not selfidentify neither he associated wih anyone.
- You are trying to appeal to community like it's a closed case while I discussed my edits with multiple people and they agreed with my opinion
- School Shooter is incelcore because It is direct predecessor of Negative XP project indicated by multiple song overlaps and later remakes and nothing suggesting otherwise. ~2026-13547-07 (talk) 13:38, 2 March 2026 (UTC)
- Who agreed? Also still bro u have no source with what you are adding thats like the main problem regardless of any info. Notice how the article has no mention of prominent figures like h4rt, neet, crustsox? Because reliable sources haven’t mentioned it yet Aradicus77 (talk) 13:46, 2 March 2026 (UTC)
- Also ik ur a newgen because Alan had way more than 2 projects, he used to make vaporwave under DaDa_Digital and was prominent enough in that scene to get posted on Vapor Memory way before school shooter and NXP. He legit started in the vaporwave scene before shifting to rock music. Aradicus77 (talk) 13:14, 2 March 2026 (UTC)
- Don't newgen me my guy, I don't bring up his other projects cause it is unrelated ~2026-13547-07 (talk) 13:38, 2 March 2026 (UTC)
- Yeah im just trolling there bruh 😂 Aradicus77 (talk) 13:45, 2 March 2026 (UTC)

- Also incelcore has its roots in chan music, figures like Edgemaster49, Chad Marco and others were the first to make incel music on the /r9k/ board in the early 2010s. Edgemaster later joined the wider incelcore scene in 2023. But the idea of incel music or incel rock had originated from /r9k/ and /mu/ way before Negative XP but this is proto-incelcore as I said Aradicus77 (talk) 13:18, 2 March 2026 (UTC)
- H4rt who you appealed to as authority in one of your posts would have a problem with this statement btw and had a huge fight with other guy in NWO server when he brought it up, but I would more or less agree with you. ~2026-13547-07 (talk) 13:40, 2 March 2026 (UTC)
- H4rt dmd me about the wikipedia page and it being wrong. I fixed what I could fix with sources cause he told me incelcore started 2019. But he hates Edgemaster saying that the scene had roots in chan music because Edge didn’t join the scene till 2023. Neet, fried and h4rt are like the most knowledgeable on the scenes history and probs like cameron phlodge and a few others as well to a certain period. But I have been trying to document the entire scene to best of my ability, the thing bout wikipedia is its actually terrible and not about real info but just about what “reliable” sources say. I feel its good to have a wiki page for the scene in hopes for more coverage and reliable sources since I noticed Pitchfork had talked about it Aradicus77 (talk) 13:44, 2 March 2026 (UTC)
- Can I see a screenshot in dms, you can add me on cord @finn_fishson. ~2026-13547-07 (talk) 13:46, 2 March 2026 (UTC)
