Al-Askari Mosque attack

Article reads "The February 2006 bombing of the al-Askari Mosque, destroying one of the holiest Shiite shrines, killing over 165 worshipers and igniting sectarian strife and reprisal killings". I cannot find any corroborating evidence for the death of 165 worshippers. Wikipedia's own article on the attack, as well as their article on the mosque itself, and various other accounts, says that nobody was killed. ~2025-43510-51 (talk) 12:11, 28 December 2025 (UTC)
