Proposal to restore sourced content under WP:BLPRESTORE

Hi all,

I'm proposing the restoration of content previously removed from this article concerning Blockbuster’s 2000 decision not to acquire Netflix during John Antioco’s tenure as CEO. The content was removed by an anonymous editor claiming to be legal counsel, but without providing specific policy-based objections. I believe the material meets all the standards of WP:BLP and WP:BLPRESTORE.

The incident is:
- Well-documented in reliable sources, including The Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, and a published memoir by Netflix co-founder Marc Randolph.
- Clearly attributed (e.g., Randolph’s “laughed out of the room” comment is his recollection, not asserted as Wikipedia’s view).
- Non-defamatory and presented neutrally, reflecting standard business coverage and commentary.

Here is the version I propose restoring:

John Antioco is an American businessman and former CEO of Blockbuster Video. In 2000, during Antioco's tenure, Netflix co-founders Reed Hastings and Marc Randolph approached Blockbuster to propose a partnership or acquisition for $50 million. According to Randolph, their proposal was rejected, and the Blockbuster executives "laughed us out of the room."[1] The incident has since been widely cited in business media as a notable example of a missed opportunity in corporate strategy.[2]

I welcome feedback or suggested adjustments if others feel further softening or contextualization is needed. I’d like to move toward consensus before restoring.
