Comments

  • Added PFR to infobox.
  • Full name cited in body please. It's not always obvious what the source is. PFR and PFA are different sometimes.
    • Done.
  • "professional" is repeated twice in the lead. Merge the two sentences together or remove professional from the lead sentence.
    • Cut first mention.
  • Lead needs expanded a little.
    • Added a little.
  • "He died in Lehighton on July" Just write "Lehighton, Pennsylvania". No one knows where that is.
    • Same for Bethlehem I guess.
      • Done for both.
  • I removed PA from infobox since Nesquehoning is already stated.
  • "He attended Nesquehoning High School where he competed" comma before where
    • Done.
  • Do you know if he was on the freshman team in 1932?
  • "earned the praise of Pop Warner" → "earned the praise of Warner"
    • Done.
  • "However, he left Temple in February 1936" That doesn't make sense that he was still eligible if he already played four years. Can you find out if he was actually on the team in 1932? PFA has been wrong about college years before.
    • He graduated from high school in 1932, but I'm not seeing anything aside from PFA about him being at Temple that year. What would you suggest?
      • Search "Johnny Kusko" in Newspapers.com for 1932. He might have been a boxer or something. ~WikiOriginal-9~ (talk) 19:36, 28 August 2026 (UTC)

Spot checks

  • Refs 1, 15, 16 look good.

Great work! Another pleasure to review. ~WikiOriginal-9~ (talk) 13:26, 14 August 2026 (UTC)
