COI disclosure: Proposed update — Relationship with Su-Kam post-2021 must be clarified

Conflict of interest disclosure: I am posting this on behalf of Kunwer Sachdev, the subject of this article, as he has a conflict of interest in directly editing this page. This post is made in accordance with Wikipedia's conflict of interest guidelines, proposing changes for neutral editors to review and implement.

Proposed update: Su-Kam Power Systems — founder status vs. current role

The article should be updated to clearly distinguish between Kunwer Sachdev's historical role as founder of Su-Kam Power Systems and his current status, which is no involvement whatsoever with the company after 2021.

Key facts for editors to reflect:

1. Founder (historical): Kunwer Sachdev founded Su-Kam Power Systems in 1988 and grew it into one of India's leading power backup companies. This is his enduring contribution and should be clearly credited.

2. NCLT insolvency (2017 onwards): In November 2017, SBI referred Su-Kam to the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) for insolvency due to debts of approximately ₹370 crore. The NCLT admitted the case in April 2018 and a liquidation order followed, with Raj Kumar Ralhan appointed as Liquidator. Multiple appeals were filed — Kunwer Sachdev vs. Su-Kam Power Systems Ltd. — before NCLAT New Delhi and ultimately the Supreme Court of India, which upheld the auction sale. Source: IBC Laws — case records.

3. No role after 2021: Following the NCLT-supervised liquidation and transfer to new management, Kunwer Sachdev has had no ownership, management role, directorship, or any other involvement in Su-Kam Power Systems after 2021. The article must not imply any ongoing connection between him and the company beyond his historical role as founder.

4. Current activities: Post-Su-Kam, Kunwer Sachdev is associated with Su-vastika, a separate company in the power backup and lithium battery space.

Neutral Wikipedia editors are requested to review these facts — well-supported by court records and press coverage — and update the article accordingly. ~2026-20931-12 (talk) 01:19, 5 April 2026 (UTC)

COI disclosure: Proposed additions — current ventures (Su-vastika, Kunwwer.ai) and personal/family information

Conflict of interest disclosure: I am posting this on behalf of Kunwer Sachdev, the subject of this article, in compliance with Wikipedia's conflict of interest guidelines. Neutral editors are requested to review the proposed additions below and implement those that are verifiable through the cited reliable sources.

Section 1: Current ventures — Su-vastika Systems and Kunwwer.ai

The article currently lacks information about Kunwer Sachdev's entrepreneurial activities after Su-Kam. The following additions are proposed:

Su-vastika Systems Pvt. Ltd.

Following the NCLT liquidation of Su-Kam Power Systems, Kunwer Sachdev became involved with Su-vastika Systems Pvt. Ltd., a power backup and clean energy startup founded in 2019 by his wife Khushboo Sachdev. Kunwer Sachdev serves as mentor to the company, which develops products including lithium-ion batteries, hybrid inverters, solar storage systems, EV chargers, and emergency rescue devices for lifts and elevators. He is credited as the driving innovation force behind the company's R&D.

Reliable sources:

Kunwwer.ai

Kunwer Sachdev has also founded Kunwwer.ai, a next-generation artificial intelligence company focused on integrating AI into business operations — covering R&D, customer support, marketing solutions, and social impact initiatives including mental health. The company's stated vision is to democratize AI-driven innovation across energy, education, and business.

Section 2: Personal life and family

The article's personal life section requires updating with the following verifiable information, sourced from published media:

Marriage and family:

Kunwer Sachdev has been married twice. From his first marriage, he has two sons: Kanav Sachdev and Shourrya Sachdev. He later married Khushboo Sachdev, founder and director of Su-vastika Systems Pvt. Ltd. Together, Kunwer and Khushboo Sachdev have twin children: Swastika and Advait.

Note to editors: Per WP:BLP, names of minor children should only be included if well-sourced and in the public interest. The twin children Swastika and Advait are mentioned by name in the Zee News article cited above. Editors should assess whether inclusion is appropriate under BLP guidelines.

These proposed additions are all grounded in published sources. Editors are requested to review and add appropriately sourced content to the article. ~2026-20931-12 (talk) 01:31, 5 April 2026 (UTC)
