The image illustrating most spoken L1 languages in India is misleading. The graphic omits many L1 languages spoken across northern India (such as Bhojpuri, Garhwali, Kumaoni, etc.) and overshadows them with Hindi while they are completely different languages belonging to different sub-families of their own. Please replace the misleading image with a more accurate representation of the languages spoken in India or change the description to a more accurate one with respect to the image.)

Already done: The map already includes these languages. Warriorglance(talk to me) 06:34, 18 March 2025 (UTC)

In the Indo-Aryan language family section of the Language Families section change "or over 76.5 of the population" to "or over 76.5% of the population" Tequa9706 (talk) 10:13, 25 September 2025 (UTC)
Done thanks for noticing that. Slomo666 (talk) 11:15, 25 September 2025 (UTC)
Restructuring the sections
just wanted to streamline the page content into logical & self contained sections. some suggestions:
1. the section Classical languages of India & Practical problems should come as subheadings under Official languages section, since Scheduled languages is already there. 2. the content for Hindi under Official languages should be swapped with the content under Hindi for Prominent Languages of India, because the context of the text is descriptive of the language, not the status of Hindi in India.
