Timeline template also needs updating
I noticed Template:Timeline of portable Macintoshes doesn’t include MacBook Neo at the moment. Could someone take a look, please? Thanks. --Kjoonlee 15:39, 4 March 2026 (UTC)

Is it possible to merge revisions 1340825648 through 1341522170 on Draft:MacBook Neo? ~ŤheŴubṂachine-840≈ 16:24, 4 March 2026 (UTC)
- The draft you created wasn't even the draft of this article when this article was created. The draft you created was moved from Draft:12.9-inch MacBook to Draft:MacBook Neo after this article was created, and since nothing was directly copied from the draft to the article, nothing needs to be merged. vistadan 19:20, 4 March 2026 (UTC)

Overall:
Article is new enough and long enough. Will need to be updated soon, mind. No close paraphrasing found; the bits about affordability are subject to limited possibilities of phrasing. No image, no QPQ to review. — Chris Woodrich (talk) 16:48, 7 March 2026 (UTC)

I took some images at a Best Buy near me of this new computer, feel free to use them if you think they would be an improvement. =) —Locke Cole • t • c • b 04:34, 16 March 2026 (UTC)
- Looks good! I might put a comparison of the Touch ID sensors, and also maybe upload them to Commons as well so other Wikipedias can use them as well. EvanTech10 (talk) 14:05, 16 March 2026 (UTC)

Absolutely, feel free to use File Importer to export them to Commons if you have the time (there should be a button/tab across the top labeled "Export to Wikimedia Commons" that automates this on each file page).- I had debated replacing the current image with File:MacBook Neo (256GB Citrus; 2026; Low angle).webp as it shows a bit more (in one image anyways) about how the device is marketed in retail settings. Though if you want to maintain a similar angle to the current image, File:MacBook Neo (256GB Citrus; 2026).webp would be a closer match. —Locke Cole • t • c • b 20:33, 16 March 2026 (UTC)

Reads like ad copy: The MacBook Neo is the most affordable laptop that Apple has ever introduced, with a starting price of $599.
"The MacBook Neo is the most affordable laptop that Apple has ever introduced, with a starting price of $599."
reads like ad copy. I think it's the word affordable, and introduced. If it is the lowest priced I think that is better phrasing than affordable, if it is NOT then I think a better word than affordable should explain, like lowest price adjusted for inflation, or whatnot. I think we can just drop the "ever" but I am not sure introduced is the right word. Sold maybe?
Alternately, if this is meant to be a direct quote, put it in quotes and source it. Mathiastck (talk) 17:31, 16 March 2026 (UTC)
- Could swap out "most affordable" with "least expensive". It definitely feels very PR-ish... —Locke Cole • t • c • b 21:00, 16 March 2026 (UTC)
- Yeah, I've gone ahead and changed the phrasing. EvanTech10 (talk) 01:19, 17 March 2026 (UTC)
