Makati Super Crunch → Makati MPBL team – Usually when it comes to historical teams, the name that is most associated with the team is the article's title. I originally changed this article's name to Makati Super Crunch since it was their most successful era, but considering that the MPBL is a regional league and that "Super Crunch" is a product of the title sponsor, a change might be needed here.
Makati Skyscrapers was the name used before the sponsorship, and every name after Super Crunch lasted for only one season. So I feel that the only feasible change would be to Makati MPBL team. This could also set a precedent since the Rizal Golden Coolers has two title sponsors attached to their team's identity. - Move to "Makati Skyscrapers", sole unsponsored name. While Wikipedia does not have a official guideline on this, people here prefer an unsponsored name, and we have one, and is better than a descriptive name since we have an actual proper name. Howard the Duck (talk) 21:06, 14 April 2026 (UTC)
