Zhengzhou
I do remember previously Zhengzhou(with a population of '12,600,574 inhabitants, of whom 10,260,667 lived in its built-up (or metro) area made of 6 urban districts plus Zhongmu county, Xinzheng and Xingyang cities now largely being conurbated'.) It's also included in the navbox at the bottom of the page.
The article itself states that, by definition, Zhengzhou is a megacity because it passes that 10mil threshold of a metro area. The problem seems to be that all the sources under-report its population by almost half; or maybe they use a different method to evaluate the population.
Should I go ahead and add it back into the List of megacities or remove it from the navbox? This is a gigantic discrepancy GSMflux91 (✉ / 🖊) 23:41, 6 February 2026 (UTC)
