Informal name: Delete
“Miami of Ohio” denigrates the university and its history. The term should be removed from the article. Miami University had long been a school before Florida was even a state, let alone before the (separate) University of Miami (in Miami, FL) was founded. This has long irritated Miami students and alumni. If there are no objections, this “informal” reference will be removed. The only informal reference to remain will be “Miami”, and a disambiguation flag will instead be added to the article to redirect to the separate, much later founded school in Florida.
