Talk:MovieMaker

This article should probably be titled MovieMaker Magazine or perhaps MovieMaker (magazine) because:

1. That is what the magazine calls itself on its web page.
2. There are many references to "MovieMaker Magazine" and not so many to simply "MovieMaker", and yet there is currently no redirect to take "MovieMaker Magazine" to here.
3. There is currently a redirect that takes the words "Moviemaker" and "moviemaker" to Film director, and yet the word "MovieMaker" directs to here. That is all very confusing.

I think the following would be a good idea.

1. Name this article MovieMaker Magazine.
2. Make redirects that take MovieMaker and Moviemaker to this article.
3. Find all the references to MovieMaker Magazine and make sure they link to here.
4. Find all the references to Moviemaker Magazine and make sure they link to here.
5. Retain the redirect that takes moviemaker to Film director.

I did the name change to MovieMaker Magazine, this is how it's known and named in many places anyway, including on the google preview for their website. Hollyforest (talk) 10:45, 1 April 2025 (UTC)

I have reverted this move because there was no WP:Requested move (enacting a 14-year-old request is not sufficient), it is not reflected by the article, and no sources were cited to prove it is the WP:COMMONNAME.
