I believe the claims of limited access to VoteBuilder to be factually inaccurate. The cited source appears to be heavily biased against standing institutions including the DNC. The source did not mention any attempt to gather the other side of the story, which could have easily been a communication error. According to FEC filings, the Ventura campaign made payments to NGP VAN on 8/16/19 and 9/17/19, while the article was published on 9/3/19.^[1] As of today's date, 5/19/20, the Ventura campaign has a job posting requiring "Willing to learn campaign technology including Hustle and Votebuilder."^[2] Based on non-public information I know at least some other primary challengers in other states have access to VoteBuilder. 75.133.228.200 (talk) 05:55, 19 May 2020 (UTC)

I agree. The single source seems dubious at best, the classic complaints of a primary challenger to an incumbent politician. It also seems that the Ventura campaign was denied access to the State Democratic Party's Votebuilder data, something that the party paid for. Hardly appears to be a conspiracy, rather a party not giving aid to someone actively campaigning against their endorsed candidate. And it seems that the Ventura campaign then merely paid for its own access, so I wouldn't say the Party has restricted access. Additionally, The edit in question was made by an unregistered user, whose IP address leads to the district in question, I doubt they wrote that with NPOV in mind. It is beyond my ability/ but why I see when I edit the page vs. what I see when I view the page are different.

Because of the poor references I am unable to correct what I believe is incorrect information about "EveryAction" being reported as a parent company ... I do not believe that is correct. I believe it was a subsidiary. Skirby359 (talk) 01:27, 9 March 2025 (UTC)
