This article is practically a word for word copy of the History page on the P&G site. Revise please. "Old Spice is now the No. 1 antiperspirant/deodorant stick and body wash brand in the United States." Is there any way to prove this claim?

I just watched the film "Red Dragon" and I believe Hannibal Lecter said: "Something a child would select" not ""Something a child would wear". Is there a social stigma associated with Old Spice? I would refer to this post and this webcomic. There is obviously something going on, but I don't know what. It appears the Grand Turk referred to was a privateer built in 1781 in Hanover, Massachusetts for Elias Hasket Derby of Salem, MA. She was a brig of 300 tons. If this is correct the reference to the original motif beginning during the "Colonial" period may stand as accurate by a matter of several months.

The Friendship originally linked to was an obscure and short-lived British transport ship that carried prisoners to Australia and was scuttled unceremoniously just four years after being launched when her crew caught scurvey off of Borneo. Not even a picture of the old White Glass shaving mug, and the appropriate refills, that were ousted (removed from the product line) about 1990. See history. The add campaign slogan was "Believe in your smellf". Not "smelf" or "smell". Examples abound, Google it. Re this edit: I removed these images paertly because they were sandwiching the text, which is not recommended by MOS:SANDWICH, and partly because they were repetitive and did not add anything significantly new to the article. There is not a great deal of text in this article and one, or at most two images are enough. The details of the advertising campaigns on separate pages seems excessive, so I suggest merging at least Make a Smellmitment into the advertising section of Old Spice. Over the years there has been some pretty obvious WP:COI editing here. The average person is not interested in writing about advertising campaigns for a product, but you can guess who might be interested in doing this. Various editors have tried to keep this article on topic by writing about the product itself rather than getting bogged down in the details of the various advertising campaigns, the staff involved etc. This should not be given excessive prominence in the article.--♦IanMacM♦ ^{(talk to me)} 06:21, 22 December 2017 (UTC)

To some extent yes. There are WP:DUE and WP:TOPIC issues here, because the article is about Old Spice, not the advertising campaigns of Old Spice. The article has already experienced problems with excessive details about the campaigns.--14:08, 22 December 2017 (UTC)
