Fleet composition and orders need to be revisited. Pegasus does not have 20 outstanding orders for B738s. It didn't have that many in the recent past. It's not sourced, and clearly nonsense. Last I checked, there were six undelivered B738s of which 3 have already been registered and are due for delivery in 2010. As of early June 2024, the fleet table is obsolete and needs to be re-written. The Airbus orders&deliveries spreadsheet of April 2024 shows e.g. a backlog of 64 A321neo with 43 others already in operation. 83.142.83.24 (talk) 11:29, 3 June 2024 (UTC)

Some sort of explosion on a Pegasus aircraft at Sabiha Gökçen International Airport, one cleaner killed, one injured. Some sources here if it's notable. I have also put this same info on the airports talk page for reference.

Edit request — leadership update and ownership detail
This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered.
Disclosure: I am a paid consultant (employer: Wagtails Private Markets; client: Esas Holding, the airline's controlling shareholder), so I am requesting this change rather than making it myself.
The article's leadership information is out of date: it names only Ali Sabancı, appointed chairman in 2005. I propose adding the following after the existing material on the 2005 acquisition and 2013 IPO:
In March 2022 Pegasus announced that Güliz Öztürk would become chief executive officer with effect from 1 May 2022, succeeding Mehmet T. Nane, who became vice-chairperson of the board; Öztürk was the first woman to serve as CEO of an airline in Turkish civil aviation.[1][2] Esas Holding has remained the airline's controlling shareholder since the flotation; H. Çağatay Özdoğru, Esas Holding's chief executive, served as vice-chairman of the Pegasus board from December 2006 to September 2022 and rejoined the board in August 2023.[3]
This updates the airline's current leadership and completes the governance picture rather than adding a single individual. If the board detail is more than the article needs, the leadership update and controlling-shareholder clause may still be worth adding on their own. Not done Hi MatthewCraigGreene, thanks for the proposal. One of the references, Simple Flying is not considered to be a reliable source (see Wikipedia:Simple Flying). Additionally, independent secondary sources - rather than company press releases - should be used as references. That said, I think this is a reasonable edit if you are able to provide an alternative reference for that claim. In addition, could you clarify where exactly you want this to be added to the article? Right after the 2013 IPO information, there is information 2020, so this addition would be chronologically out of order. Thanks Spencer — both fair points. I've replaced the Simple Flying and press-release citations with independent secondary coverage from two national outlets, and dropped the press release entirely. On placement: you're right about the chronology — the addition belongs at the chronological end of the History section, after the existing 2020 material. Revised proposal:
