Sorry, Sportsfangnome, but just as in your last nomination, none of the articles is eligible because none of them has been recently created or expanded 5x or promoted to Good Article. Please, please, please read WP:DYK, especially the section on eligibility criteria, before submitting any more nominations. MANdARAX XAЯAbИAM 14:11, 6 July 2022 (UTC)
Quick Facts Area
In the Quick Facts area, in the "Team History" section, there is a break in the tame timeline for 1943, as that was the the year of the "Steagles". As Wikipedia's own entry on the "Steagles" shows, "The team would be known as the Philadelphia Eagles and be based in Philadelphia. (Art) Rooney had very little leverage, bringing only six players to the table. However, he was successful in landing two home games in Pittsburgh, while Philadelphia would host four. The team was also to wear the Eagles' green and white colors instead of Pittsburgh's black and gold.". As the NFL formally recognized the team as the "Philadelphia Eagles and they wore Eagles uniforms, I think that this should reflect in an un-broken link in the Eagles timeline (1933-Present), and the "Steagles" entry should still stay below as is. Thoughts? Madking2222 (talk) 14:58, 24 February 2025 (UTC)

Add somewhere(preferably in the first paragraph) something resembling as follows: As of Super Bowl LIX, the Eagles are the only team to have defeated both Brady and Belichick's Patriots and Mahomes and Reid's Chiefs in the Super Bowl. Only the New York Giants have also beaten the Patriots in that era and only the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have beaten the Chiefs in that era. 2600:1008:A117:4798:2C2B:DE6F:59B7:4A4D (talk) 22:55, 1 October 2025 (UTC)
Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate.- On top of this, I wonder if this is really wp:notable Slomo666 (talk) 23:23, 1 October 2025 (UTC)
- That is something that could perhaps be better put in the "History" section. I don't think it is notable enough for the lead paragraph. Red0ctober22 (talk) 02:35, 2 October 2025 (UTC)
Article Evaluation
One evaluation question I considered is whether the article is well written. The article is written very well and has detailed topics about the Philadelphia EaglesPorscheeagle13 (talk) 06:41, 21 January 2026 (UTC). Porscheeagle13 (talk) 06:40, 21 January 2026 (UTC). : Correction of Songwriter Credits for "Eagles Fly with the Dove" (Super Bowl XV Anthem)
Description: I am writing to formally request a correction to the historical record regarding the anthem recorded by Dennis Franks and the Liberty Bells for the 1980-1981 Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl run. While the record is often attributed to the performers, the lyrics—including the iconic chorus "Eagles fly with the Dove / The Eagles from the City of Brotherly Love"—were authored by Carol Davis (now known as Carol Kirby, M.Ed. As an African-American woman writing during that era, my contribution as the primary lyricist was not properly reflected in public citations, despite being the creative force that provided the "gusto and zeal" for the city's anthem. I possess primary source documentation, including a written letter from the late Dennis Franks (former Eagles Special Teams Captain) explicitly acknowledging my role as the "major component" and primary writer of the song. I am seeking to have my name properly attached to the credits of this cultural milestone in Philadelphia sports history to ensure the contribution of a Black female writer is no longer erased from the record. I am available to provide the supporting documentation and BMI registration details to the editors of this page upon request. Please contact me through my user talk page or via the official verification channels.
