This is for the deletionists out there: This article exists because it had over 20 legitimate inbound red-links and had a circulation of millions. That makes it notable. davidwr (talk) 15 July 2007 (UTC)

The article text gives a date of September 1899 for the magazine's first issue, while the sidebar says it was September 1889. Which is correct? 24.239.54.219 (talk) 20:40, 20 January 2013 (UTC)

This article needs:

• Publication information for its entire history.
• List of major contributors and contributions. Some are listed on the What Links Here page.
• Historical significance of the magazine. What makes it notable besides its wide circulation and the fact that it has over 20 inbound links?
• An example cover or two. The earlier the better to avoid copyright issues.
• Changes in the magazine's content over the years
