Irish mythology in Etymology section
I've removed previous sources that didn't support the info claimed in the article text. I've then looked around to try to find sources that support what is claimed in the wiki article. One I found was by gov.uk, which I've since replaced with another source that articulates a storyline that makes a bit more sense re the alleged pebble. I've edited the wiki article text accordingly to make the story re the pebble clearer.
I can find sources of various sub-optimal credibilities claiming Rockall is mentioned in Irish mythology. My concern though, is I can't find any sources that specify a mythological Irish name for Rockall. Hence unless someone can find a credible source that contains an Irish mythological name for Rockall, I propose the paragraph re Irish mythology is moved to the "Earliest mentions" sub-section of the "History" section.
Any opinions are welcome. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 103.216.223.57 (talk) 09:33, 17 June 2025 (UTC)
2025 06 improvements
I've tried to:
1) Improve sectioning by creating: a) a section titled 'Location' b) a sub-section for Hall's Ladge
2) Improve the pics in use by using cropped pics
There's some further good pics available in Wikicommons (see below). Is anyone able to appropriately accommodate these in the article? E.g., sequence them so they are like a 360 view of the rock?

3) Can I also suggest one of they pics would make a better main pic on the article since.
a) They illustrate much better the cliff on one face of the rock b) Photographically the view finder is better filled with the subject of interest. The current pic has too much sky above and sea below the pic — Preceding unsigned comment added by 103.216.223.35 (talk) 08:42, 15 June 2025 (UTC)
incorrect text
The article refers to a veto by the then Foreign Secretary David Cameron in 2024. David Cameron was not in government in 2024. The article being cited, and therefore this text, must be incorrect. Nickstopforth (talk) 10:33, 1 March 2026 (UTC)
