The Ror are a warrior tribe whose migration began in Haryana and whose final settlement also occurred within Haryana.[1] Ror are the modern population that is closest of the first prehistorical and early historical south Asian ancient samples near the Indus Valley, and Ror population also harbour the highest Steppe-related, EHG, Neolithic Anatolian ancestry, and they show less affinity with the Neolithic Iranians. The Ror population can plausibly be used as an alternative proxy for ANI in future demographic modeling of South Asian Population.[2] Rors have been reported to possess the highest frequency of the -13910*T allele in South Asia, which is associated with lactase persistence (lactose tolerance).[3] 203.192.212.98 (talk) 06:44, 26 September 2025 (UTC)
