  • Wow, this is a really hilarious scandal I've never heard of before. Really good hook, and it checks out with the source; and is cited in-article. The article is in good condition and eligible via GA promotion. No QPQ needed; I think we're good to go! Generalissima (talk) (it/she) 14:40, 14 July 2026 (UTC)

Aligning bank victims in lead and body

The lead should summarise the body of the article, yet Bank Leumi is mentioned in the lead and not the body whereas Chase Manhattan is mentioned in the body but not the lead. Perhaps the lead and body could be aligned by mentioning the same banks in both. Jontel (talk) 13:57, 21 July 2026 (UTC)

When I was editing this article, I left most of the existing lead intact. I had assumed the source it cited (New Yorker) mentioned those companies. I just checked the source and it doesn't seem to be the case. So I will pull the information from the body into the lead since that's cited. abandeali (talk) 23:22, 21 July 2026 (UTC)
The Miller text lists all 51 impacted companies (which includes Leumi) so I left it in the lead and instead added a more explicit line in the body. abandeali (talk) 23:34, 21 July 2026 (UTC)
