to refute the Nekrasov movie the following source is utilised: https://www.the-american-interest.com/2016/06/14/russias-big-lie/

a) does this count as a trusted source? b) the source makes factually wrong statements:

1.) "In the course of the film, Nekrasov “discovers” that while Browder had always claimed that Magnitsky had directly named the two officers from the Russian Interior Ministry—Mayor Pavel Karpov and Lieutenant-Colonel Artem Kuznetsov—in his testimony, in truth there is not a single mention of these two officers in Magnitsky’s deposition." --> false. Nekrasov states explicitly that Karpov and Kuznetsov are mentioned in the June 5th deposition, as the ones conducting the raid. what Nekrasov does state is that Karpov and Kuznetsov are not mentioned in the Oct 7th deposition and that they are not accused of the theft by Magnitzky

2.) "I googled Magnitsky’s testimony. It took me two minutes to realize that the names of both Karpov and Kuznetsov are mentioned more than a dozen times in all three of Magnitsky’s testimonies, scanned and published on the web." --> false. the Oct 7th deposition does not contain the names of Karpov and Kuznetsov

As the Nekrasov documentation is specifically aimed at exposing Browder, how can a popwerpoint presentation by Browder himself be used as a reliable source? At first glance Broweder is wrong in at least two points:

a) he refutes the Nekrasov claim that Magnitzky was not a lawyer while he himself admitted in his 2015 NY district court sworn statements that Magnitsky did not have a law degree or visited a law school. see https://100r.org/media/2017/10/Browder-Deposition-April-15-2015.pdf

b) Browder claimes in this presentation that "Official Death Certificate stated that Sergei Magnitsky had suffered a “cerebral cranial injury”. that is false, as even his own screenshot clearly shows. the death certificate states several reasons, and the head injury is followed by a question mark:

"“Cholelithiasis. Acute calculous cholecystitis. Acute pancreatitis. Pancreonecrosis? Acute psychosis. Closed craniocerebral injury?”
