Why introduce the topic of Shamanism by describing how thoroughly it has been studied by scholars?
the second overview paragraph in the intro section points out that there has been a lot of academic research on this topic. But why is that of interest in the introduction / overview? It would be like saying, "hockey is a team game played with ice skates and a puck, and many universities focus research programs on the game." I think that second paragraph should be moved elsewhere and replaced with additional summary or descriptive text about Shamanism. Robintundrabay (talk) 12:45, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
