The stilt house itself has proven to be resistant to disasters. This can be seen when the earthquake hit the area on September 28,2018, Banua Oge/Souraja was not damaged. Natural disasters (earthquakes, liquefaction, and tsunami) that occurred some time ago in 2018 impacted damage to buildings and structures in Palu City, such as government buildings, educational facilities, worship facilities, health, community residential buildings and historic buildings.
